I was your typical male that you would see in the gym. I would run on the treadmill, do bicep curls and tricep pushdowns, and bench press. Occasionally, I would even do a back squat or maybe even a deadlift. I was getting the same old results from the same old workouts. I was getting nowhere. I wanted to be better, to be stronger, to be faster but I just did not have the knowledge or training to reach those goals. That is where CrossFit came into picture.
CrossFit has transformed me into the athlete that I am today. I can run faster, jump higher, and lift more weight than I could as a college student. I owe this to CrossFit. The CrossFit trainers have coached me to be a better lifter, pushed me to go faster, and encouraged me to be my very best.
I dont think I have a favorite WOD, maybe “Grace” or “Annie” I really enjoy any workout that involves cleans, clean and jerks, double unders, and pullups. These exercises exhaust me but they are some of my strengths.
Outside of CrossFit, I run, participate in triathlons, and spend time with my family and friends.
